STar™ Drive Motor/ Encoder System
FHC’s microTargeting™ STar™ Drive Motor/ Encoder System allows for precise neurosurgical positioning. The STar™ Drive M/E smoothly advances probes such as recording microelectrodes and stimulating or lesion electrodes. It can be operated manually or combined with FHC’s microTargeting™ Controller Power Assist System to allow remote control and position reporting capability to compatible intraoperative microectrode recording systems.
The STar™ Drive M/E is compatible with leading industry stereotactic systems through the use of individual frame adapters (available separately).
The system includes drive sterilization tray, lead measurement fixture, and other tools used during the procedure.
